A goal scorer, an assist machine, a superstar, and a legend. They chant his name, begged for autographs, and imitate his famous goal celebration every single game day. Robbie Keane is an extraordinary talent and a face all Major League Soccer fans know. 

This past year Landon Donovan has accounted for the spotlight of the LA Galaxy and MLS, rightfully so, but what about Robbie Keane? 

Robbie Keane is an Irish soccer player who is currently one of the brightest stars and faces of Major League Soccer. Before joining the MLS, Keane has previously played for the Wolverhampton Wanderers, Coventry City, Inter Milan, Leeds United, Tottenham Hotspur's, Celtic, and West Ham United. 

Robbie Keane joined one of the MLS greats Los Angeles Galaxy in 2011 prior to sparking inspiration and thrill to millions of American soccer fans. Keane made his debut August 20th, 2011 as one of the Galaxy's three designated players. From there on Robbie Keane has went on to inspire and help play a role in growing the MLS for ages to come. 

As far as statistics, he has netted 67 goals for the Galaxy in just four seasons. With all of these goals Keane has received some of the country's top honors such as 3 MLS Cups, an MLS Supporter's Shield, 3 time MLS All-star team selection, MLS MVP award, and an MLS Cup MVP.      

In just four season Robbie Keane has proven to be one of the best players and talents that the MLS has ever witnessed. At age 34 the MLS MVP and Irish National team captain has shown that he is not done nor has slowed down.
